Matthew J. Ruttenberg named Top Retirement Plan Advisor under 40

Fort Myers, FL – Matthew J. Ruttenberg, an independent financial advisor with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) of Fairfield, Iowa, was named one of fifty ‘Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40’ by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).
Established in 2014, the 50 young plan advisors seen as the future leaders of the industry and are eager to step up.  Though there are concerns whether younger people will be attracted to the financial services industry and a severe lack of effective training, NAPA’s “50 under 40” list shows that the deferred compensation advisory business is healthy, with promising new leaders emerging.
Nominations by NAPA Firm Partners were accepted early March and open voting began on March 20^th ending on April 10^th.  The selection process was based on three-parts:  Firm Partner Nomination, Voting and Open Nominations, and Selection which included tallying and vote reviews by a NAPA blue ribbon committee of senior advisor industry experts.
