tea with lemon and ginger

 

CWA Service Partner, Morgan Singer, shares a great fall drink that just might not cure your ailments but will make being sick suck a little less. Not to mention it’s great for when you want an easy and warm fall cocktail.

Prep Time: 5-10 Minutes

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of hot tea of your choice – decongesting tea is perfect if you can find it

1 big spoonful of honey

2 lemon slices

Juice from 1/2 a lemon

2 cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon – whatever is on hand

2 shots of ginger brandy

 

Directions:

Boil your water and steep a cup of hot tea.

Mix in your honey, juice from 1/2 a lemon and 2 shots of ginger brandy.

Top with 2 cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon and your lemon slices.
